Diamondite Rod Finish

 

The Diamondite Pure Coat Rod Finish is a revolutionary rod finish which saves today’s rod builder time and money. This finish has a working (pot) life of one hour and a one hour cure time upon activation. It starts crystal clear and remains crystal clear throughout the finishing process. It does not yellow with exposure to sunlight. It will not crack at the guide feet because of it’s elastomer qualities. The product is designed to release the entrapped bubbles that may develop during application of the finish. The viscosity allows for multiple thin coats with no manual mixing or waste. The Manual Mixing System incorporated a unique delivery system that mixes the product under pressure to ensure the finish is properly mixed every time. The finish has shown to be compatible with other coatings and is re-coatable even when dry. It does not absorb water and does not walk during application. The reduction in curing time alone saves many hours of unproductive time per finished rod.

 

Diamondite Color Preserver

The Diamondite Color Preserver is very unique color preserver. It is a urethane based product with a drying agent to accelerate the curing process. Diamondite Color Preserver is not sensitive to excessive application which eliminates builder error. The preserver penetrates completely, bonds to all types of threads and cures in minutes. It also has additives to preserve the brilliance of the finished wrap.

 

Diamondite Marbling Kit

 The Diamondite Marbling Kit is the first of its kind to simplify the coloring process in rod building. The Kit is made to work with existing rod finishes and our one hour Diamondite Rod Finish. The Kit is unlike other coloring choices such as enamels or dry pigments which affect the actual curing process and longevity of the rod finish.  The product allows the rod builders the opportunity to create custom mixed colors that will be one of a kind.  Many rod builders enjoy this process of creating signature color combinations for their custom rods.  Custom rod builders will be able to offer additional services to their clients, thus making a customers’ rod truly a showpiece. The coloring agent disperses completely in the finish and can be mixed to a 100% opacity which fosters a repeatable application.  The agent is highly concentrated which makes the product very cost effective.  Beginners to advanced rod builders will be pleased with the excellent results for all finishing techniques such as marbling, tinting, as well as simpler coloring techniques.  Once used, builders will quickly learn the unique qualities which set this product apart.
